Defeating The Double Dungeon Statue of God in Arise Ragnarok
The Statue of God is one of the most iconic and intimidating bosses in Arise Ragnarok. Defeating it is the gateway to becoming a higher-ranked hunter.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the journey from grinding to Level 1,000, surviving the Double Dungeon, and what happens after you finally Rank Up.
1. Preparation: Class & Gear
Before you even think about the Statue of God, you need to be prepared. The game has added several new classes (Tank, Warrior, Healer), but for this run, we recommend Assassin.
- Why Assassin? Insane damage output and mobility.
- Alternative: Tank is great for aggroing enemies to group them up for efficient farming.
Gear Strategy
Don’t hoard weak gear. Use the Merge feature in the Guild Hall.
- Combine duplicate E-Rank items to create Mark 1 or Mark 2 versions.
- A Mark 2 E-Rank dagger can sometimes outperform a base B-Rank weapon.
- Goal: Get your damage high enough to one-shot mobs.
2. The Grind to Level 1,000
To fight the boss, you first need to hit the level cap of 1,000. The fastest way is running Dungeons that spawn every 30 minutes.
The Infernal Castle (Cerberus)
This is one of the easier dungeons. The Cerberus boss has simple patterns and can be distracted by your Shadows.
Tip: Focus on melee attacks (M1s) while your shadows take the heat.
The Winter Dungeon (Krampus)
This dungeon is packed with enemies. It gives massive EXP but takes longer to clear.
- Warning: If you aren’t a Tank or don’t have AoE, you might get overwhelmed. Grouping enemies is key.
Once you hit Level 1,000 (likely finishing off with a Red Quest like the Werewolf alpha), you are ready for the test.
3. The Rank Up Test: Double Dungeon
Head to the test area. Warning: There are no second chances. If you die or time runs out, you fail.
- Conditions: No Shadows allowed initially. No healing items.
- Phase 1: Clear rooms of Goblins and Wolves. (Easy if you have good gear).
Then, you enter the boss room.
Facing the Statue of God
The boss mechanic is unique. It’s not just a DPS check; it’s a mechanic check based on the “Instruments”.
The Strategy:
- Dodge & touch: You need to interact with the instruments/circles that appear.
- Avoid the Statues: Don’t stand directly in front of the weapon-wielding statues; they activate when you are near.
- DPS Window: When the mechanics are done, the boss stops moving. Unleash everything.
Once the boss falls below half health, he may summon minions. Clear them out quickly and finish him off.
4. Aftermath: Welcome to D-Rank
Congratulations! You’ve defeated the Statue of God.
What happens next?
- Level Reset: You are reset to Level 1 (Prestige).
- Rank Up: You are now D-Rank (up from E-Rank).
- Stats Gone: You lose your previous stats, so you will feel weak initially.
However, you now have access to D-Rank Gear.
- A basic D-Rank weapon is significantly stronger than upgraded E-Rank gear.
- Example: A new D-Rank dagger might deal 300+ damage compared to your old 150 damage.
The loop begins again—but this time, you’re much more powerful. Good luck leveling back up!
