Master the shadow army system to dominate in Arise Ragnarok
What are Shadows?
Shadows (also called Summons) are companions you can summon to fight alongside you in battle. Inspired by Solo Leveling, you can "arise" defeated enemies and add them to your shadow army.

Acquiring Shadows
You obtain shadows by "arising" defeated enemies. Here's how:

Defeat an Enemy
Kill any enemy in dungeons or the open world.

Look for the Popup
A prompt will appear above the enemy's body if they can be arisen.
- 3
Press E to Arise
The shadow will be added to your collection automatically.
Note: Note: Not every enemy can be arisen. Keep grinding to build your collection!
Summoning Shadows
How to Equip
Click the Skull icon in the UI to open the Shadows menu. Select which shadows you want to equip for battle.
How to Summon
Press B during combat to summon your equipped shadows. They will fight alongside you automatically.
Shadow Slots
Higher levels unlock more shadow slots, allowing you to summon multiple shadows at once.
Shadow Scaling
Shadow stats scale directly from your class's main stat:

| Tank | STR (Strength) |
This means investing in your main damage stat also makes your shadows stronger!
Merging & Upgrading
Upgrade your shadows by merging duplicates at the Shadow Merge NPC.
How to Merge
- 1. Go to the Guild Building
- 2. Take the elevator to the top floor
- 3. Talk to the Shadow Merge NPC
- 4. Select 4 copies of the same shadow
- 5. Confirm to merge into a stronger version
⚠️ Important Warning
There is currently no way to reroll shadow stats. Always place your strongest copy in the first slot when merging. The other 3 copies will be consumed.
Tips & Strategies
🎯 Farm Duplicates
Focus on arising the same enemy type multiple times to get 4 copies for merging.
📊 Check Stats Before Merging
Compare your duplicate shadows and keep the one with the best stats as your primary.
⚡ Invest in Main Stat
Since shadows scale with INT or STR, boosting your main stat benefits both you and your shadows.
🔄 Use Shadows for AFK Grinding
Shadows can help clear enemies while you focus on dodging or positioning.
